National Charity Model Search
Is your child America's Cutest Kid? Prove it to the nation!
The National Charity Model Search will select "America's Cutest Kid" and raise funds for charity.
Portraits of children ages 18 months to 14 years may be entered into the contest by participating photographers. City winners will be determined by online votes. Anyone may vote. Each vote is $1, and all proceeds from each vote benefit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS.org).
Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS), is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to assisting parents and families going through the difficult time when they experience an early infant loss. NILMDTS connects families with photographers and provides them with a DVD and a reproducible CD of the images of their baby. For further information on NILMDTS, visit www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org.
We’re excited to announce that PhotoVision Video Magazine has signed on as a sponsor of the National Charity Model Search. PhotoVision, a bi-monthly publication for professional photographers, is highly regarded in the industry and is delivered to over 12,000 studios.
After the National Charity Model Search is concluded and the winners are announced, Sandy Puc' will fly to the winning photographer’s studio to interview the photographer and child for a video article to be included in an upcoming PhotoVision edition and to be taped for a live session at the photographer's studio by Sandy Puc' .
Have your child entered into the competition, and help raise funds for a worthy organization. Remember, the more votes your child receives, the greater their chance at being a finalist for the national prize. Tell your family and friends to vote for your child!
Photography and industry experts will select the national winner from the city finalists. The national model winner receives many prizes, including a $5,000 US Savings Bond and a Canon PowerShot G10 digital camera.
Sandy Puc', Model Search organizer, has long believed charitable work is the backbone of the community. She created this contest to highlight excellence in the portrait photography industry as well as raise funds for NILMDTS, an organization she co-founded in 2005. Down To Sleep (NILMDTS.org).
